Everything we do for period windows and doors

Eight specialist services, one team, all of London inside the M25 and out towards the Kent border.

Sash Window Refurbishment

Full overhaul of original box sash windows — weights, cords, pulleys and paintwork put back to working order.

Snapped cord? We re-cord both sides in waxed cotton or nylon-core and rebalance the weights the same visit.

Tensioned spiral balances measured, matched and replaced in pairs on modern sash windows.

Balances, gaskets, locks and misted units repaired on uPVC vertical sliders — no full replacement needed.

Period-correct front and internal doors copied from the original mouldings of your street.

Repair, easing, draught sealing and re-hanging of solid timber doors and frames.

Side-hung timber casements repaired, re-hung and weather-sealed, or made new to match.

New hardwood windows made in our workshop to the profile of your original joinery.

Send us a photo of the window and we will usually come back the same day with an honest idea of cost.
